The 53rd Chapter - How to Leverage Your Time

Jan 7/17

I am thinking about the concept of time.  I am wondering if time happens all at once - like in a blink of an eye you life is actually lived.  Time is a concept then used for us to allow us to experience life?

Things or words like deja vu or being able to feel the future events are about to happen, can possibly be explained by the concept time does not really exist.  Things like when your enjoying a moment it will seem like no time has passed but when you look at your watch in reality hours have passed by.  Of course the opposite is true when you are experiencing something negative that each second may seem like an hour.

It is like life is made up with balance in everything, you can't experienced time without experiencing the pain of loss or joy of something positive.  Our feelings must be sometime linked to time and from those feelings emotions can alter time.  The law of physics can be applied to everything we do and experience.  The energy we put into something in our minds then becomes our reality.

There has been periods of my life when I did not put positive energy into my life and over time I realized I was not living life.  All he positive type quotes - as cliche as they sound - are so true.  Have you explored the concept of using your mind to achieve whatever you decide?  If you have not - take some small steps in your mind and decide to do something you will be amazed of how that will actually work.

An example of that in my life is my running that I do - I keep track of my distance and time to complete my run each day.  The day that I think - hey I am going to beat my best time - I do.  Not only am I able to achieve that time decrease - I will decrease it significantly and it does not feel any harder physically to achieve that increased speed.

Which ties back into my original thought - does time actually exist in the form we all understand it?  How do you explain significant increase in my running performance when the only change is my mindset of I am going to shorten my time?

I would like to have more answers/discussions to questions like these and perhaps to someone reading this, you can provide some insight?

Or is it as simple as we are the captain of our own ship and whatever we decide to happen in our life, it will happen?

Perhaps our mind and thoughts are like the rudder of a ship.  Which by turning these thoughts to whatever direction thus provides us to arrive at our destination.
