As my journey of life continues I am grateful for the experiences and the impact of what seems like random events that triggers events and experiences in other people. I would like to share an experience that happened last week. When I returned to work after my epic two week holiday I ran into a co-worker and I shared a few of my stories from my recent trip. He commented that he has always wanted to take a trip like I just did by himself as well but always had an excuse to why he never made the time.
I expressed the overall idea of how amazing life is when you are able to live in the moment and all the incredible random experience that come to me - that make life incredible to live. So roughly a week had passed and I ran into him again. He asked if I had sometime as he would like to share a story. So he went on to tell me he went on a work trip and normally he never arrives at a airport early - for whatever reason this time he did. As he arrives at the security lane he hears his name - he turns around and sees a young man - immediately he recognizes the him as the son of a woman he once dated over three years ago.
I also remember him telling me about three years ago about how much he liked this woman and her kids. However at the time - for timing reasons I believe - it did not work out for him. So as I reflect - what are the chances of all that timing to come together? The young mans flight was changed as well as gates and because my co-worker had the time, he made sure this young man knew where to go. This young man was nervous as he had never flown before by himself and combined with all the gate changes magnified that nervousness.
As my co-worker friend was so early he was able to provider that direction and support that young man needed at that moment in time. After he was safely to his gate destination he texted my co-worker shortly after expressing his thankfulness of the help and the comfort he received. Shortly after that text my friend received another text from his mother also expressing appreciation for the kindness my friend freely gave to her son.
So the next point of this story gave me goose bumps. As a few texts later between these people she told my friend about a yoga retreat in Costa Rica for a week - and yes I am sure you guessed what come next in my story. Yes he checked his passport - ran down to the government office and found out he could get a renewal in time.
So from two weeks from now he is going on his first warm holiday by himself. I am so happy for him and the comfort I have received is I never know what may appear to be a random conversation I never know how much my words/experiences can change a person life. Also reminded of how important the power of words are and to always use words in a kind manner.
As powerful and positive words can impact people and effect their life in a great way. Conversely the negative impact of negative words can damage a person and is also possible this damage can hurt a person for a long while in their life.
This experience has provided me the support and most importantly a reminder to always be mindful of me using my words and energy in a positive way. The power of what you create in your life, good or bad, will either add to you life or take away. You will find great experiences and if you are - you are making positive changes for you and your interactions with others.
If you find yourself in a route and negative experiences perhaps your not in alignment of a positive cycle?
Think back to your recent choices - what is the theme of those choices?
Karma is powerful - your life is what you create!!!
