One of life's keys to happiness and success is your personal self-esteem. Self-esteem is the building block for our house of life. Self-esteem needs to be strong for a foundation to support greatness.... The (your) foundation will be the limiting factor of your life's house. I remember reading the secret and how the world (universe) provides endless of whatever you truly seek into your life. You can take dump trucks of whatever you seek into your life whether it is positive or negative. So if feel you are currently suffer from low amounts of self-esteem like I do or did (it seems to ebb and flow over time), as strange as it sounds start each day and look at yourself in the mirror and say I love myself. It takes work and it is possible to pull yourself from the dark abyss of self pity and low self-esteem. Also condition your mind - so promote positive thoughts and ensure when negative ones start - be able to identify a negative thought is starting and tell your mind to stop thinking negative ones. When either positive or negative thoughts extend out (picture your thought as a small pebble getting dropped into a calm lake and the waves slowly extending out from the center of the pebble contacting the water) from your mind will come into your life....Acknowledge all the feelings from these thoughts that lead into experiences and move forward.....I found I will (would) over analyze the emotions of these experiences..... I am working on to just enjoy the positive ones and be aware of the negative ones......limit the negative ones with preventing the small pebble to hit the water.....With the goal to move forward....
another random thought that day....I have two beautiful kids, a son and a daughter....as they were going through their teenage years...I had a hard time to let them be them....fundamental building blocks (their foundation is created by the teenage years)....Like all of us...they have been created as perfect vessels so I am learning to watch them be perfect and true to who they are.....There were times I felt there was some negative choices that were been made, the importance to have some uncomfortable conversations of those choices.....I would tell them I love them and then let the experience go....it is up to them to create and make their own path in life...... TO Nick and Meg whom I love very much and daily am grateful to be a part of their life.....
