You have all seen or experienced in real life a maze. Where someone has going out and started a new journey, that can be compared to a maze, with some kind of large plans. In this maze there are times where they are close to finding the correct way of the maze however there is only one correct way to successfully exit.
As you proceed through your maze of life you will have clues of what you think are you next steps. As you proceed through your life you will make more correct decisions than wrong ones in regards to moving yourself forward. Yet you will experience the dead ends of your maze and when that happens the only thing you are able to do is retrace your steps and learn from your incorrect turn.
One of the most important lessons is to follow your maze, when faced with moment of uncertainly follow your path. Sometimes that path will lead you to your dead end and that is ok, you went with the information you had at the time you thought was correct. Even with the dead ends you will find your travels will provide you with an valuable experience.
Recently as I have traveled down my maze I was drawn to the need to move away to a warm location and start a life of me being able to make a living at a relaxed pace. Even though the pull was strong and I felt I was on my correct path for me, I traveled to my warm vacation with my son in search of this next path for me. I started out this journey with hope and wonder if maybe this is where I would land after years in the corporate world. Even though I met folks at this island that have left the corporate world and now this is their place of residence. I rapidly realized my time is not now for moving away, hence I have hit a dead end in my maze.
Now as I return home and retrace my steps it is with a sense of gratitude as I did follow my clue to what I thought was my path. Not in the slightest am I disappointed as the time with my son and exploring the area there can be no value put on this experience. Even though I hit a dead end, I have actually gained confidence on the fact that my son and I followed a path that has create value for me.
I also truly hope this experience has create value in my son as he navigates his life path, destination and his maze. If your feeling a need to move on a quest, follow it, now matter what it is, as if you don't you will be burdened with the feeling of regret. If you allow it, choices like these will cause you to stop living life and a tragedy it would be if you get to the end of your life filled with regrets. The time is now to conquer you maze and explore life to your fullest.
